What is My Singing Monsters?

My Singing Monsters is a simulation game developed by Big Blue Bubble, a Canadian company that specializes in mobile games. The game was first released in 2012 for iOS and Android devices, and since then it has expanded to other platforms such as Windows PC, Amazon Kindle Fire, Apple TV, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and more. The game has also spawned several spin-offs, such as My Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire, My Mammott, My PomPom, Jammer Splash, and Composer.

The game's main premise is simple: you are a monster collector who travels to different islands in the Monster World. Each island has its own theme and musical genre, such as Plant Island (pop), Cold Island (rock), Air Island (hip hop), Water Island (reggae), Earth Island (R&B), Fire Island (metal), Light Island (electronic), Psychic Island (jazz), Faerie Island (folk), Bone Island (blues), Shugabush Island (country), Ethereal Island (ambient), Wublin Island (dubstep), Celestial Island (classical), Tribal Island (world), Composer Island (custom), Gold Island (all-star), Mirror Islands (remixes), Colossingum (battle arena), Party Island (dance), Space Island (space rock), Cloud Island (cloud rap), Cave Island (cave music), Starhenge (star music), Magical Sanctum (magical music), Seasonal Shanty (seasonal music), Sugarbush Island (sugar music) ,and The Continent (orchestral). On each island, you can breed and collect different types of monsters, each with their own element, appearance, sound, and personality. You can also feed, level up, and evolve your monsters to make them stronger and happier. The more monsters you have on your island, the more complex and harmonious your song will be.

How to Breed and Collect Monsters

One of the main goals of My Singing Monsters is to breed and collect as many monsters as possible. There are over 200 different monsters in the game, each with their own rarity, element, class, and family. Some monsters are common and easy to breed, while others are rare and require special combinations or conditions. To breed a monster, you need to have a breeding structure on your island. You can then select two monsters from your collection and place them in the breeding structure. After a certain amount of time, depending on the combination, you will get an egg that you can hatch in the nursery. You can then place the hatched monster on your island or sell it for coins.

Some of the basic elements in the game are Plant, Cold, Air, Water, Earth, Fire, Light, Psychic, Faerie, Bone, Ethereal, Shugabush, Celestial, Dipster, Werdos, Wubbox, Glowl, Floot Fly, Woolabee, Rootitoot, Barrb, Repatillo, Pomily, Clamble, Ziggurab, Thrumble, Sooza, Rooba, Percussionne, Plinkajou ,and Glaishur. You can breed these elements together to create hybrid monsters with two or more elements. For example, breeding a Plant monster with a Cold monster will give you a Thumpies monster with both Plant and Cold elements. You can also breed hybrid monsters with other hybrid monsters or single-element monsters to create even more combinations. For example, breeding a Thumpies monster with a Water monster will give you a Spunge monster with Plant, Cold, and Water elements. Some monsters are exclusive to certain islands, such as the Ethereal monsters, the Shugabush monsters, the Celestial monsters, and the Magical monsters. You can also breed special monsters during limited-time events, such as the Seasonal monsters, the Rare monsters, the Epic monsters, and the Legendary monsters. These monsters have unique appearances and sounds that make them stand out from the rest.

How to Decorate and Customize Your Islands

Another fun aspect of My Singing Monsters is decorating and customizing your islands. You can make your islands look more lively and beautiful by adding various items and themes. Some of the items you can use are trees, rocks, flowers, mushrooms, torches, statues, fountains, castles, bridges, paths, fences, banners, flags, signs, and more. You can also change the background and foreground of your islands with different themes, such as tropical, spooky, snowy, desert, forest, candy, space, cloud, cave, star, magical, sugarbush ,and seasonal. You can buy these items and themes with coins or diamonds, the game's currencies. You can also earn them by completing quests, achievements, or goals. You can move, rotate, resize, and delete any item or theme you want. You can also use the island editor to zoom in and out, pan around, and undo or redo your actions. You can also save your island layouts and load them later.
